Globalization has always fascinated me in such a way that how it shorten the distance between us through
media , internet, cheaper airfares and etc. In this information exposive era, culture undoubtfully has been
one of the exposure we managed to gain if compared to anytime in the history. Ironically the way we
appreciate, exchange and understand culture hasn't be much deepen, improved and benefited from this
development. Cultural context ,spirit, heritage and value have been much denied, decaded and
deteriorated in one way or another due to fast food attitude, commercialization and etc....
My recent series reflects my exploration and investigation of these issues. Metaphor. irony and allegory of
the issues have been established through provocative composition of artifacts, goods, patterns and
symbols. It invites viewers' curiosity to rethink the issues.
