Chankerk trained at Singapore Nanyang Academy of Fine Art, graduating in Painting Art in 1993.
He has been a full-time professional artist since 2005.
He is: Chairman of Sentosa Artists Village (2001-2004)
Chairman of Art critique group, Two Right Feet(TRF) (2003-2008)
Co-founder of Impasto Art Junction Malaysia(1994)
Founder of My Art Space Singapore (2005)
Chankerk conducted various painting, art appreciation workshops for all walks of life at Singapore Art
Museum, Nanyang Academy of Fine Art and My Art Space Studio
He lives and works in Singapore
